Tata Motors Group, a global automotive powerhouse, has unveiled impressive sales figures for Q2 FY24. The company’s global wholesales, which prominently include , reached a remarkable 3,42,376 units, marking a 7% growth when juxtaposed with the numbers from Q2 FY23.

A Deep Dive into the Wholesales: Commercial Vehicles Lead the Way

Highlighting the segments that contributed to this growth, ‘ commercial vehicles, including the esteemed Tata Daewoo range, clocked in a total of 106,620 units in Q2 FY24. This segment showcased a 3% increment when compared to the sales of Q2 FY23. On the flip side, Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles saw a slight dip of 3%, with global wholesales numbering 1,38,939 units in Q2 FY24 as opposed to the previous year’s Q2.

Jaguar Land Rover’s Stellar Performance Steals the Show

Jaguar Land Rover, a premier luxury automotive brand under the umbrella, registered outstanding wholesales, significantly contributing to the overall figures. A total of 96,817 vehicles were sold under the JLR banner, which is a commendable 29% rise. Breaking it down further, Jaguar’s wholesales for the quarter stood at 13,560 vehicles, while its counterpart, Land Rover, surged ahead with a massive 83,257 vehicles. This phenomenal performance by Jaguar Land Rover underscores its unwavering global appeal and the brand’s dedication to quality and innovation.
