TASI acquires German inspection systems manufacturer Cassel Messtechnik

TASI Group has acquired Cassel Messtechnik, a manufacturer of metal detection and x-ray inspection systems for industrial applications, for an undisclosed price

The acquisition will help TASI Group’s packaging integrity segment to further expand its global footprint in product inspection and packaging integrity. The packaging integrity segment of the company includes ALPS Inspection, Bonfiglioli Engineering, and Sepha.

Cassel Messtechnik, which has more than 60 employees, is based near Hannover, Germany. The company offers manufacturers with the testing equipment required for quality control and for ensuring the safety of consumer goods.

Cassel Messtechnik, which was founded in 1994, manufactures nearly 1,000 inspection systems per year. Almost 80% of its equipment is exported to the European Union, US, Australia, Southeast Asia, South America, and South Africa.
