Talos Energy (NYSE: TALO) takes 50% of Mexico Block 29 as Repsol targets 2027 investment decision
Talos Energy is entering Repsol’s Block 29 offshore Mexico through a staged farm-in covering the Polok and Chinwol discoveries. The deal limits Talos Energy’s immediate payment, but an FPSO development would eventually require substantial capital, regulatory approvals and confidence in more than 200 million barrels of estimated gross recoverable resources.
