Cerrado Gold Inc. has closed a C$10 million strategic private placement with an Eric Sprott-controlled entity as its producing Minera Don Nicolas mine generates stronger cash flow and the company prepares for US$20 million of deferred payments from its recent stream repurchase.

Cerrado Gold has completed a C$10 million strategic private placement with Eric Sprott, issuing four million units at C$2.50 each. The financing strengthens a company already producing positive EBITDA at Minera Don Nicolas, but the attached warrants could create another two million shares if CERT trades above C$3.35.
