Gulf Coast Ammonia

Yara International is acquiring a 1.3 million-tonne Texas ammonia facility that is still being commissioned. The deal could lower production costs and strengthen supply security, but it also concentrates considerable capital and operational risk in a plant that has yet to demonstrate stable commercial performance.
