The Federal Bank Limited has elevated National Head of Consumer Banking Virat Sunil Diwanji to Executive Director from October 12 after Reserve Bank of India approval. His appointment brings three decades of consumer-banking experience onto the board as the lender expands retail assets, improves margins and trades substantially above last year's levels.
