Now it is Winter and Skin should be taken care of in all seasons as it is affected by all types of climatic conditions.
In winter season the skin and lips become dry due to loss of moisture.
Remedies and Skin Care Tips to be followed during Winter Season to keep your skin beautiful:
- Plenty of Water should be drunk in winter season to prevent the skin from becoming dry.
- Green tea is beneficial to the skin in winter season than the normal tea.
- Bathing should be done with lukewarm water as it prevents the drying of the skin than done with the hot water.
- Few drops of Olive oil can be added to the bathing water for preventing the drying of the skin.
- Body should not be dried strongly with the towel after the bath. Dry the body lightly and apply the moisturizer to the wet skin itself.
- According to the Ayurveda, it is better to take bath by applying the oil to the body atleast once in a week.
- It is good and healthy to eat the fruits that are available in the season like guava and amla. Guava is abundant in fibers and gets dissolved in blood easily. Thus guava reduces the blood pressure and levels of cholesterol. Amla is good for the health of hair and skin.
