In a significant move for the robotics industry, Segway Robotics, a leader in autonomous mobile robot (AMR) technologies, has teamed up with NVIDIA to unveil the Nova Orin Developer Kit (DevKit) at the NVIDIA GTC conference. This global AI conference, which took place from March 18-21 at the San Jose Convention Center and online, served as the platform for the introduction of this groundbreaking developer kit, poised to redefine the boundaries of robotic innovation.

The Nova Orin DevKit, building on the success of last year’s Nova Carter development robot—a collaborative effort between Segway and NVIDIA—aims to make robotics development more accessible and efficient. By leveraging Segway’s expertise in robotic mobility and NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI and GPU accelerated computing, this developer kit offers a robust platform for creators to develop robotic applications capable of navigating and interacting with the world in ways never before possible.
