Reliance Jio partners with Plume to upgrade smart home services for 200 million premises

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio), India’s leading telecom network, has joined hands with Plume, a pioneer in network services and consumer experience, with an aim to offer top-tier smart home and small business services. This collaboration will cater to around 200 million premises across India, leveraging Plume’s expansive cloud platform.

Jio’s Contribution to Digital India

Jio’s forte lies in addressing the digital necessities of the Indian populace. Their offerings encompass both fixed-line and wireless services delivered via cloud. JioFiber and JioAirFiber, Jio’s flagship networks, are engineered to provide dependable, high-speed internet and entertainment amenities across Indian households.

What The Partnership Entails

Through this alliance, Jio intends to roll out HomePass and WorkPass consumer services powered by Plume’s AI-driven, cloud-centric platform. This includes adaptive whole-home WiFi, device and application performance fine-tuning, cyber threat safeguards for connected devices, advanced parental controls, WiFi motion detection, among other features. Furthermore, Plume’s Haystack Support and Operations Suite will bolster Jio’s customer assistance and operational squads to promptly tackle performance glitches, pinpoint network fault locations, and oversee the all-encompassing customer journey.
