Radeberger Gruppe USA to launch Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer in the US
Drinks industry news : Radeberger Gruppe USA, a beer importer will bring a new Hefeweizen pomegranate beer named as Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer to the Pacific Northwest market in the United States beginning from next year.
Radeberger Gruppe USA is a subsidiary of Radeberger Gruppe, a leading brewery group in Germany from which imports beer brands into the United States.
According to Radeberger Gruppe USA, Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer is made up of 50% unfiltered German Hefeweizen and the other 50% constituting pomegranate juice.
The fruit beer Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer has 2.5% alcohol by volume, which Radeberger Gruppe USA claims to give a crisp taste to the consumer while being easy to drink.

The introduction of Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer in the United States follows the launch of the Schofferhofer grapefruit beer which is claimed to be widely successful as per Radeberger Gruppe USA.
Currently, Schofferhofer Grapefruit beer can be found across grocery, c-stores and off-premise retail centers and on-draught at bars and restaurants across the United States.
Commenting on the launch of Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer, Armin Buehler – the Head of marketing at Radeberger Gruppe USA, said: “We set out to meet the increasing consumer demand for more delicious, low alcohol options as evidenced by Schöfferhofer Grapefruit, and we’re excited about our latest innovation – Schöfferhofer Pomegranate.
“The Pacific Northwest region is known for its adventurous culinary and lifestyle scene, and we’re excited to introduce this product to this area as a test market before rolling it out nationwide.”
Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer will be exclusively launched in 6-pack bottles from January 2018 in Oregon, Washington and Utah among other Pacific Northwest regions.
Radeberger Gruppe USA stated that it is for the first time that Schofferhofer Pomegranate beer has been packaged in bottles, otherwise it is being served on-draught at Walt Disney World’s Epcot World Showcase restaurants across Germany.
