ProAmpac unveils ProActive R-2200D easy-peel open packaging for snacks
ProAmpac, an American flexible packaging company, has unveiled its groundbreaking ProActive Recyclable R-2200D Easy-Peel Open Packaging, which is currently patent-pending.
This innovative packaging solution aims to enhance the snacking experience by providing consumers with a hassle-free and effortless opening process, thanks to its exceptional easy-peel sealant technology.
The Recyclable R-2200D Easy-Peel Open from ProAmpac is a high-performance, polyethylene-based film that is fully recyclable. It serves as a sustainable alternative to non-recyclable laminated structures commonly used in snack packagings, such as BOPP/BOPP, BOPP/Met BOPP, PET/peelable PE, and others.
Engineered specifically for high-speed form/fill/seal applications, the R-2200D film has already undergone pre-qualification for store drop-off recycling programs.

To cater to diverse product requirements, the ProActive Recyclable R-2200D Easy-Peel Open is available in three different oxygen and moisture barrier levels. This ensures that brand owners can select the ideal barrier option to suit their specific application needs.
Moreover, the packaging film is offered in a variety of finishes, including gloss, registered matte, or with ProAmpac’s Signature Surfaces, enabling brand owners to meet their desired graphic preferences.
