Patriot Pickle opens new production facility in Garland, Texas, triples capacity
Patriot Pickle, a leading name in fresh pickles and fermented foods, has officially opened a state-of-the-art production facility in Garland, Texas. The new site is a game-changer for the company, more than tripling its manufacturing capacity and allowing it to deliver its “farm to package” pickles to customers across the United States in five days or less. The expansion also underscores Patriot Pickle’s commitment to economic development, creating up to 75 jobs in the Garland community.
The new facility, completed in just nine months, marks a turning point for Patriot Pickle. Headquartered in Wayne, New Jersey, the company has built its reputation on providing fresh, high-quality pickles to foodservice and grocery retailers since 2004. Patriot Pickle’s wide-ranging product line includes popular brands such as CRISP, Regal Crown, K&Z, First Place Foods, and its namesake Patriot Pickle brand. The company caters to thousands of restaurants, delis, and supermarkets, offering versatile packaging options, from single-serve pouches to bulk foodservice containers.
According to Patriot Pickle’s leadership, the Garland facility is a response to growing demand and a key step in solidifying the company’s position in the market. Founder Bill McEntee and Chief Executive Officer Adam Ricci noted that the new facility would not only enhance customer service but also contribute to the local economy. They credited the company’s growth to its loyal customer base, the strength of its product, and its partnership with H.I.G. Capital, which acquired Patriot Pickle earlier this year.
The acquisition by H.I.G. Capital, a global investment firm managing $66 billion in assets, has accelerated Patriot Pickle’s growth trajectory. A senior representative from H.I.G. Capital described Patriot Pickle as a dynamic company with immense potential. The opening of the Garland facility, they stated, positions the business for long-term success by expanding its operational capabilities and geographic reach.
Industry experts see this move as a strategic investment that reinforces Patriot Pickle’s ability to meet rising consumer demand for fresh, premium-quality fermented foods. By focusing on speed, freshness, and quality, the company aims to differentiate itself in a competitive market while strengthening its relationships with foodservice and grocery retail partners.
The Garland expansion reflects Patriot Pickle’s steadfast commitment to its motto, “Always Fresh, Always Crisp.” With its enhanced production and distribution capabilities, the company is poised to continue its nearly two-decade legacy of delivering fresh pickles to an ever-growing customer base across North America.
