Nikon Instruments launches AX R microscope with NSPARC 2K software
Nikon Instruments Inc. has significantly expanded its AX series lineup through the launch of the AX R microscope with NSPARC 2K software, a major leap in microscopy technology aimed at transforming biomedical research. This new product, set to be available on June 28, offers unprecedented resolution and speed, enhancing research capabilities in fundamental biology, disease research, and drug development.
The core innovation of the AX R with NSPARC Super-Resolution Confocal Microscope lies in its ability to deliver maximum resolution performance across a field of view that is four times larger than previous models. Coupled with the Nikon Spatial Array Confocal (NSPARC) detector, this system allows for highly precise observations with significantly reduced noise and enhanced image contrast.
One of the standout features of the new microscope is its image acquisition speed, which is six times faster than traditional galvano scanners at the same magnification. This enables ultra-fast imaging, critical for capturing dynamic biological processes such as CAR-T cell movements within cancer research. The expanded observation range also allows researchers to capture detailed images of cell and tissue microstructures over larger areas without losing resolution, facilitating a deeper understanding of complex biological phenomena.
