Multipure International, a Nevada-based manufacturer of drinking water purification systems has acquired Rainshow’r Manufacturing, a California-based manufacturer of shower, bath, garden and hydroponic dechlorination equipment.

Financial terms of Multipure acquisition of Rainshow’r were not disclosed.

Through the acquisition, Multipure International acquires Rainshow’r facilities, product ranges, and intellectual property. Following the acquisition, Rainshow’r will continue to be run as an independent subsidiary of Multipure, under the name Rainshower.

The drinking water treatment products of Multipure are said to be complementary with the water treatment products of Rainshower’s.

For many years, Multipure has been selling Rainshower shower, bath, and garden water treatment products.

Commenting on Multipure acquisition of Rainshow’r, Zachary Rice – Multipure President Zachary Rice said: “Our mission is to continue to provide Rainshower’s Dealers and customers with the high-quality products and services they expect and deserve.”

“Together we can more effectively provide superior water treatment products to all those seeking better water for their homes and families, both now and in the future.”

Multipure said that the transaction will result in minimal impact on existing relationships between Rainshower and its dealers. It further said that the current Rainshower products will continue to be available along with the drinking water products of Multipure.

Multipure claimed that Rainshower has been a leading company in the shower filter industry, designing and manufacturing shower, bath, and garden filters for 20+ years.

On the other hand, Multipure, which was established in 1970, is into manufacuring and distribution of drinking water systems and compressed solid carbon block filters.
