Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. unveiled its acquisition of the assets of Meadowbrook Insurance Agency, a prominent retail insurance broker headquartered in Southfield, Michigan. Acquisition Highlights: Inclusion of Affiliated Entities

Further intensifying the magnitude of this acquisition, Gallagher will assimilate two affiliated firms alongside Meadowbrook Insurance Agency: The Protection Center, located in Jackson, Michigan, and the Kleinschmidt Agency, Inc. from Ann Arbor, Michigan. These acquisitions are poised to enrich Gallagher’s service offerings and market presence in the region.

Operational Insights Post Acquisition

Post-acquisition, the Meadowbrook Insurance Agency personnel will be directed under the leadership of Sean Gallagher, who oversees Gallagher’s retail property/casualty brokerage functions in the Great Lakes region, and Tom Lannen, steering Gallagher’s employee benefits consulting ventures in the Midwest.
