Maersk Supply Service bags marine services contract from Esso Angola

Maersk Supply Service has bagged an integrated marine services contract from Esso Angola pertaining to Block 15 in Angolan waters.

The Danish marine services provider will be responsible for project management, engineering, and marine services for supporting the development of offshore drilling and production operations in the offshore block.

In this regard, Maersk Supply Service will deploy its Maersk Forza subsea support vessel to carry out the offshore marine operations. These include offshore field maintenance support, deep-water active heave-compensation (AHC) precision lifting, and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations for installing subsea and other marine equipment.

Maersk Forza is scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of this year. Currently, Maersk Supply Service is assembling the associated crews and project teams in preparation.
