Lupin creates Lupin Diagnostics to offer diagnostic tests in India

Lupin Limited has launched its diagnostics business in India under the name Lupin Diagnostics as part of its efforts to offer integrated healthcare in India.

Lupin Diagnostics, which is a fully-owned subsidiary of Lupin has formally begun operations. It has set up a 45,000 sft national reference laboratory in Navi Mumbai.

With high-quality equipment, experienced doctors helped by trained technologists, and strict quality control protocols, Lupin Diagnostics is said to offer a comprehensive variety of diagnostic tests such as molecular diagnostics, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, serology, microbiology, histopathology and cytology, immunology, haematology, and others.

According to Lupin, the main facilities of the laboratory include all major diagnostics services, a comprehensive range of tests, and preventive health check-ups.

All the required processing will be operated by Lupin Healthcare as a hub and will be linked to a pan-Indian network of regional, satellite and collection centers. Additionally, Lupin is in the process of identifying franchisee partners who are interested in catering to the needs of patients.
