L&T Technology Services wins $45m contract from US automotive firm

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has bagged a contract worth $45 million from a US-based automotive tier 1 company to deliver engineering services for its electric vehicle (EV) product portfolio.

As per the five-year agreement, the Larsen & Toubro subsidiary will work as a strategic engineering partner with the automotive customer to provide solutions that utilize its competence in e-mobility technology.

The solutions will be delivered from the engineering research and development (R&D) center of L&T Technology Services in Krakow, Poland.

The Indian firm plans to have more than 300 engineers working at the Polish center for the project over the next three years.

“This landmark deal reinforces that our strategic investment is paying off and establishes LTTS’ dominant position in the EACV landscape. The Krakow R&D center will serve as a nearshore center to Western European and North American clientele across verticals.”
