Kensington Vanguard acquires title agency Hometown Title & Escrow

Kensington Vanguard National Land Services (KV), a US-based title insurance agency, has acquired Hometown Title & Escrow for an undisclosed price.

Hometown Title & Escrow, which is based in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia, is headed by Sharon Keegan, an industry veteran. Sharon Keegan has built the title agency focused on catering to residential and more complex commercial transactions in the markets of Northern Virginia and Washington DC.

Brian Cooper – Co-CEO of Kensington Vanguard National Land Services said: “We are very excited to add the Hometown Title team to our successful and expanding DC Metro Division. This transaction represents the fourth acquisition we’ve made in the region and we look forward to continued growth.”

According to Kensington Vanguard National Land Services, the acquisition of Hometown Title & Escrow strengthens the latter’s already strong footprint in the DC Metro and Virginia market.

Apart from that, the national platform, infrastructure, technology, capital, and client base of Kensington Vanguard National Land Services combined with the local experience and reputation of Hometown Title & Escrow creates scope for growth of the enlarged business.
