US homebuilder KB Home has inaugurated Countryside, its latest project of new single-family homes in Ontario Ranch, California.
The new neighborhood, Countryside is in close proximity to Interstates 15 and 10, Highway 60, Metrolink stations and Ontario International Airport.
According to KB Home, the Countryside project will have 52 one- and two-story homes with three distinct floor plans. The homes will range in size from about 1,800- 2,500sft, with up to five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. The Countryside homes will also feature custom design specifications such as large lots, spacious great rooms, walk-in closets, and elegant master suites, with price starting from the low-$500,000s.
The residents at the Countryside will have access to a public park that is planned to come adjacent to the neighborhood. It is expected to have open play and gathering areas, picnic tables, biking and walking trails. Residents can enjoy playing golf at the nearby Whispering Lakes Golf Course in addition to having dining, shopping, and entertainment options at Victoria Gardens and Ontario Mills shopping center.
John Fenn – president of KB Home Inland Empire division said: “We believe the KB homes at Countryside will appeal to a broad range of homebuyer needs and preferences. Our thoughtfully designed one- and two-story floor plans are flexible canvases upon which KB home buyers can create the way they want to live.”
The Countryside homes, which will be built to current ENERGY STAR certification guidelines, will include WaterSense labeled faucets and fixtures. KB Home estimates that depending on the floor plan, the homebuyers will save between $1,896 and $2,952 a year in utility costs with these energy- and water-saving features.
KB Home lets buyers customize various aspects of their new home according to their budget and preferences. After the lot and the floor plan is finalized, home buyers may work with design experts at the KB Home Design Studio, where they can select designs for countertops, cabinets, lighting, window coverings, and appliances.
