Kasada to build dual-branded hotel in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire

Kasada, a real estate private equity platform, will develop a new dual-branded hotel in the Angré district, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The hotel, which will be located within the complex being developed by HCCP, will include minimized water consumption as well as efficient energy and waste management to meet international environmental and social standards.

The complex will be a retail-led mixed-use development with more than 150 hotel keys, a shopping center with over 60 stores, restaurants, a mini entertainment park, offices, a co-working space, and a clinic.

Planned to open in 2024, the complex will come up on a five-hectare site and currently will seek to be certified EDGE, the World Bank’s green building certification program.

Kasada, which is dedicated to hospitality in Sub-Saharan Africa, operates greenfield hotels under the banner of Accor’s wide range of brands.

In 2018, HCCP opened Cosmos Yopougon, a Grade A shopping center in Abidjan’s largest municipality.
