Nordex said that the turbines for the Istanbul wind farm will be installed on 125m tubular steel towers.

Once the Istanbul power plant is operational, the Caba Grup will get a higher feed-in tariff as Nordex is processing the rotor blades, towers, anchor cages, and generators from Turkey.

The wind farm is expected to generate 850GWh annually, based on the average annual wind speed of eight meters per second, said Nordex.
