Infosys has inked a memorandum agreement (MoU) with oil and gas giant Saudi Aramco to help accelerate the latter’s technology for human resources (HR).
The two parties will work together in order to create new perspectives on HR and data analytics, expand the use of automated tools, and enhance the experience of employees by using the power of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Infosys will also integrate the digital transformation toolkit and processes in the platform for HR of Aramco and improve employee satisfaction which will allow them to connect more effectively.
The Indian IT company hopes to use AI to enhance Aramco’s learning experience and development further and reduce the gap in skills. This will assist Aramco in identifying talent and connecting individuals to the best opportunities within the group.
Faisal A. Al-Hajji — Aramco SVP of Human Resources said: “At Aramco, we are constantly looking to improve employee experience and make our company the best place to work. This collaboration will allow us to explore ways to further upgrade our focus on customer-centricity and transform our digital HR offerings.”
The alliance between Infosys and Aramco will also be looking at ways to help automation reduce the time spent on routine tasks in HR management with AI-powered learning. This will cut down on the time, effort, and energy that is required to deliver training.
The AI-powered analysis aims at providing insights, tracking the return on investment, and aiding Aramco in making algorithmic decisions to discern trends and identify the most effective ways to attract.
Ashiss Kumar Dash — Infosys EVP and Global Head of Services, Utilities, Resources and Energy said: “Infosys’ programs for learning and development have been acknowledged and benchmarked globally and we take great pride in them. Through this collaboration, we intend to bring our digital expertise and tools to Aramco’s HR practice to deliver a world-class employee experience.
