Infosys Q4 FY2023 net profit grows by 8% YoY to Rs 61.3bn

Infosys Q4 FY2023 results : Indian IT services provider Infosys has reported a net profit of INR 6,134 crores for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (Q4 FY2023) that ended 31 March 2023, which is an increase of 7.7%, compared to INR 5,695 crores in Q4 FY2022.

In the third quarter of FY2023, the company made INR 6,586 crores in net profit.

The diluted earnings per share (EPS) for Infosys in Q4 FY2023 was INR 14.77, an increase of 9% year-over-year (YoY) compared to INR 13.54 in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Infosys Q4 FY2023 revenues were INR 37,441 crores in the reported quarter, which is a 16% increase compared to INR 32,276 crores in Q4 FY2022.

According to the company, digital made up 62.9% of total revenues and increased at a rate of 15% in constant currency.

In Q3 FY2023, Infosys’ revenues were INR 38,318 crores.

Commenting on Infosys Q4 FY2023 results, Salil Parekh — Infosys CEO and MD said: “Our strong performance in FY23 is a testimony to the continued focus on digital, cloud and automation capabilities which resonated with our clients. We have launched exciting programs with our clients leveraging generative AI platforms.

“As the environment has changed, we see strong interest from our clients for efficiency, cost and consolidation opportunities, resulting in a strong large deal pipeline. We have expanded our internal program on efficiency and cost to build a path to higher margins in the medium term.”
