Indian gold retailer Rajesh Exports wins Rs 691cr order from Germany

Rajesh Exports, an Indian gold retailer, has won an order worth INR 691 crores from a German customer for a designer range of jewellery.

The order has to be completed by December 2021, said the company.

Rajesh Exports said that it will execute the order from its own jewellery manufacturing facility in Bengaluru.

The facility is capable of processing 250 tons of jewellery and gold products per year.

Rajesh Exports said that it is confident of executing the order well within the time frame owing to its expertise, skilled craftsmen, artisans, and its strong backward integrated infrastructure.

The Indian gold retailer claims to have launched new designs in the global markets which constitute a new variety of jewellery.

Rajesh Exports stated: “The special significance of this order is the acceptance of the company’s new range of jewellery in the global markets. The company expects further significant orders for this range of jewellery from the international markets.”

The company has 82 retail jewellery showrooms under the brand name — SHUBH Jewellers. It also owns a gold refinery in Switzerland through the acquisition of Valcambi.
