IIT Bombay has inked a collaboration agreement with Jindal Stainless, aiming to set up a dedicated Chair Professorship within the institute. This esteemed Chair will focus its energies on amplifying research concerning industrial procedures and product innovations in the expansive stainless steel sector. Entrusted to an existing notable professor from IIT Bombay, the chair will honor someone with a commendable research legacy. The pioneer Chair professor is anticipated to emerge from the Institute’s renowned Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science.
