ICICI Bank enables credit card payments of all banks via iMobile Pay app

ICICI Bank announced that its savings account customers can now instantly pay and manage dues of their credit cards of any bank using its iMobile Pay app.

According to the Indian private banking group, customers can add credit cards of any bank to the mobile app within a few seconds. Following this, they can pay and manage their dues.

ICICI Bank said that the new feature provides enhanced convenience to customers, who usually use multiple credit cards. Furthermore, the new functionality in the ICICI iMobile Pay app will give them a one-stop solution for managing all their cards with ease, in a safe as well as secure manner, said the bank.

Besides, the new feature removes the trouble of visiting various websites by customers to manage or pay dues of their multiple cards. Apart from that, customers can set reminders for bill payments, check payments history of all cards, share payment confirmation using WhatsApp, and manage and change due dates according to the billing cycle of their cards.

“With a large section of customers using multiple cards for their various needs, this new solution aims to help them decongest the process of their credit card bill payments. It offers them the convenience of a one-stop payment solution for all their credit cards on one platform, and saves them the hassle of juggling between multiple portals for payments.”

In June, ICICI Bank had claimed that the iMobile Pay app was being used by more than two million customers of other banks.
