HDFC Bank Q2FY23 net profit up by 20% to Rs 10,606cr
HDFC Bank Q2FY23 results : Indian private banking group HDFC Bank Limited has reported a net profit of INR 10,605.8 crores for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (Q2FY23), an increase of 20.1% compared to INR 8,834.3 crores for the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The diluted earnings per share (EPS) of HDFC Bank in Q2FY23 was INR 19, compared to diluted EPS of INR 15.85 in Q2FY22.
For the quarter ended 30 September 2022, the Indian private sector banking group earned INR 46,181.96 crores, which is an increase of 19.17% compared to Q2FY22 total income of INR 38,754.16 crores.

As of 30 September 2022, HDFC Bank had 6,499 branches and 18,868 ATMs/cash deposit and withdrawal machines (CDMs) located in 3,226 cities/towns. This is in comparison to 5,686 branches and 16,642 ATMs/CDMs across 2,929 cities/towns as of 30 September 2021.
