Gujarat Natural Resources wraps up drilling campaign at Kanwara field
Gujarat Natural Resources Limited said that its subsidiary GNRL Oil & Gas has wrapped up a drilling campaign for its three production wells at the Kanwara oil field in the Tarapur block, located north of Khambhat in Gujarat.
The three wells are K11, K14, and K15, of which one of them is tied back to the existing production infrastructure. The well that has been connected is yielding nearly 180 barrels of oil per day oil and 7,000 standard cubic meters per day of gas.
Drilling of the wells began in early November 2022.

The remaining two wells are undergoing initial production testing with an aim to bring them on stream by the end of this month after the production facilities are upgraded.
According to Gujarat Natural Resources Limited, the upgradation of the production facilities is expected to lead to an increase in the company’s consolidated revenue/profitability.
