Greenport Venlo wind farm : Nordex wins contract for 35MW turbines

Nordex Group has won a contract to deliver 3MW and 4MW turbines for a total capacity of 35MW for the Greenport Venlo wind farm in the Netherlands from Windpark Greenport Venlo, as announced in April 2021.

Windpark Greenport Venlo has placed an order for five N133/4.8 turbines of the Delta4000 series having tower hub heights of 135m and three N117/3675 turbines with tower hub heights of 134m.

Nordex Group has also been given a premium service contract for turbines for more than 25 years.

The German wind turbine manufacturer will deliver the eight turbines to the Greenport Venlo wind farm in early 2022. The wind farm will be built in the Greenport Venlo industrial estate, located northwest of Venlo.

Following its commissioning, the Greenport Venlo wind farm will generate clean electricity for almost 30,000 households.

Recently, Nordex bagged a 187MW order from the Caba Grup for the second construction phase of the Istanbul wind farm in Turkey.
