Group Chief Information Officer of SingPost, Noel Singgih, highlights the company’s journey towards becoming a technology-driven logistics enterprise. “Our positive engagement with Google Cloud…gave us the confidence to embark on the next step of this journey,” he stated. SingPost has moved all IT workloads to Google Cloud, achieving a 30% savings in IT operations. This shift allows the company to leverage Google Cloud’s AI-optimized infrastructure for cost-efficient, scalable, and sustainable AI-driven innovation.

SingPost is also enhancing security using Google Cloud’s BeyondCorp Enterprise platform, implementing zero trust security principles to protect enterprise data and applications.

Supercharging Logistics with AI

SingPost’s participation in the AI Trailblazers initiative led to the development of an AI solution to streamline its eCommerce logistics operations. This solution, built using Google Cloud’s Vertex AI and Document AI, transforms unstructured data from trade documents into a searchable repository, boosting productivity and strategic decision-making.

Philbert Gomez, Vice President and Head, Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), commented on the initiative’s role in fostering AI innovation in Singapore, aligning with national efforts to establish the city-state as a hub for AI.

Democratizing Gen AI Tools Across SingPost

SingPost is replacing legacy tools with Duet AI in Google Workspace, enabling employees to work more efficiently with embedded AI in applications like Gmail, Drive, Docs, and more. This integration allows for rapid application development by citizen developers, further fostering a culture of digital innovation.
