GIPCL commissions 100MW solar plant at Raghanesda Ultra Mega Solar Park

Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) said that it has commissioned a 100MW solar power project at the Raghanesda Ultra Mega Solar Park in Gujarat.

Incorporated in 1985 as a publicly listed company, GIPCL operates a 310MW gas-fired combined cycle power plant in Baroda, 500MW lignite based power plant, and 374.4MW renewable energy made up of utility scale wind and solar projects.

The Raghanesda Ultra Mega Solar Park is located in the Haghanesda village in Banaskantha district. It is the biggest solar park in Gujarat after the Charanka solar park, which was established in 2012 in Patan district.
