Sterling and Wilson clinches 600MWac solar PV project from GIPCL

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWRE) has made a significant stride in the domestic solar EPC market by securing a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a massive 600MWac solar PV project in Khavda. This prestigious order comes from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) and pushes the project’s total bid value, encompassing a 3-year O&M, to approximately INR 1,130 crore.

This highly anticipated project, divided into two blocks of 300 MWac each, encompasses a wide range of responsibilities for SWRE. Their scope extends from the intricate phases of design and engineering to the critical stages of supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning. Furthermore, SWRE will be managing a 3-year operation & maintenance contract, showcasing their comprehensive capabilities in the solar sector.
