FPT Software opens Nanning development center to serve Chinese auto giants

Vietnam-based technology and IT services provider FPT Software has opened a new nearshore development center in Nanning, Guangxi Province, China, as part of the company’s expansion strategy.

The development center marks FPT Software’s 65th office worldwide and is anticipated to help the company offer its ready-made platforms and digital services to the Chinese automotive industry.

Located in Liangqing District, the new delivery center is expected to help FPT Software tap the region’s growing IT industry and facilitate trading and training exchange between the two nations.

Chu Thi Thanh Ha — FPT Software Chairwoman said: “With the new nearshore development center in Nanning, we aim to enhance our competencies in automotive, manufacturing, and other industries.

“We will be able to bridge the language barriers and time zone differences and have more in-person engagement with our clients.

“I hope the development center in Nanning will become the new growth engine for FPT Software in China.”

FPT Software, with $803 million in revenue and more than 25,000 personnel in 27 countries, currently supports global automotive majors through its automotive services and solutions that also meet international AUTOSAR standards set by automotive industry giants.
