Excelsus Holdings has acquired Spectrum Integrated Technologies, a Malaysian printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing company, for an undisclosed price.

The acquisition was carried out by Excelsus Holdings’ fully-owned Malaysian subsidiary Excelsus Technologies (M).

The company was founded in 2011 following the acquisition of TPT Multiflex.

According to Excelsus Holdings, the main reason to acquire Spectrum Integrated Technologies is the growing customer concerns about the dependability and resiliency of the prevailing PCB supply chain.

Excelsus Holdings believes that Southeast Asia and in particular, Malaysia provide diversity outside of China with a dependable low-cost workforce while offering robust infrastructure and access to high quality logistics with Singapore Changi Airport, which is 40 minutes from Spectrum Integrated Technologies’ factory.
