Gibson Shipbrokers Ltd (Gibson), a renowned London-based shipbroker, and Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SOGDC), have officially embarked on a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing the development of the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park (SOGIP) in Sabah, Malaysia. This partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, represents a pivotal move towards enhancing oil and gas facilities within the region, promising to boost the local economy and create high-quality job opportunities.

The collaboration between Gibson and SOGDC signifies a significant leap in the development of SOGIP, with a feasibility study already in progress and expected to conclude by May 2024.
