Cystitis is the general term for the inflammation of the bladder. Cystitis is a urinary tract infection which is caused by various types of infections.

Cystitis is more common in the females than in males. The microbes come from outside the body through the urethra or by kidney infection. Treatment of Cystitis :

Cystitis may not be prevented completely but some types of infection can be controlled by cleansing the genital region regularly such that the entrance of the urethra is protected against bacterial invasion.
