Bumble Bee Seafoods rolls out 12 new tuna products to US retail shelves

Bumble Bee Seafoods is broadening its award-winning range of canned, pouched, and kit-based tuna products with 12 fresh additions, now available in stores.

These innovative products will be accessible nationwide at leading retailers in the US.

The fresh line-up includes Bumble Bee Prime Yellowfin in Extra Virgin Olive Oil in three flavors: Lemon & Pepper, Balsamic & Herb, and Basil Pesto & Roasted Garlic. Further extensions include the Snack on the Run! Tuna Salad & Crackers Kit in Ranch Flavor and Chunk Light Tuna, available in both oil and water, with MSC certified tuna.

The new products also feature pouched wild-caught tuna in Teriyaki Flavor, pouched wild-caught light tuna in water in a 3-pack format, and low-sodium solid white Albacore cans.

The expansion builds upon Bumble Bee Seafoods’ successful rollouts in 2022, which saw the introduction of wild-caught tuna pouches in Applewood Smoke and Mediterranean Herbs & Spices, along with Quick Catch Tuna Bowls in Southwest, Mediterranean, and Teriyaki flavor combinations.

In 2021, the company launched its Protein on the Run Kits, later recognized as a “Best New Snack Product” in 2022 by Progressive Grocer, with flavor choices including Zesty Lemon, Black Pepper, and Mild Jalapeno.

Bumble Bee Seafoods is now shipping the new products to retailers. Items marked with the MSC blue fish icon are sourced from an MSC-certified sustainable fishery, underlining the company’s commitment to sustainability.
