Axis Bank allocates 40.9k shares under ESOP Scheme

Axis Bank said that it has allotted 40,940 of its equity shares priced at INR 2 each on 22 November 2021, in accordance to the exercise of stock options under its ESOP Scheme.

The Indian banking group said that its paid up share capital will therefore move up from INR 613,43,13,006 (30,67,156,503 equity shares of INR 2 each) to INR 13,43,94,886 (30,67,197,443 equity shares of INR 2 each).

Last month, Axis Bank had secured approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for re-appointing Amitabh Chaudhry as its managing director (MD) and CEO.
