Allied Digital Services bags Rs 190cr smart industrial city solution contract for Taloja
Allied Digital Services Limited has officially announced its latest achievement: the receipt of a Letter of Intent for a monumental project, the Taloja Smart Industrial City Solution, with a contract value of Rs.190 Crores. This initiative is set to transform the town of Taloja in Navi Mumbai over an 18-month implementation period, followed by a 60-month Operations and Maintenance phase. This endeavor not only highlights Allied Digital’s leadership in the smart solutions domain but also underscores its commitment to driving smart and sustainable urban development across India.
The project’s scope is extensive, involving the creation of an Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC) at both the Corporation’s Head office and within the Industrial Township. This advanced ICCC software will be integrated with a cloud-based Data Center and Disaster Recovery system, ensuring seamless data management and robust security protocols.
A critical component of this smart city solution is the deployment of an advanced CCTV-based Surveillance System aimed at enhancing security and monitoring across the city. This initiative will be complemented by AI-driven smart infrastructure developments, including the installation of Smart Poles that will feature CCTV, Air Quality Monitoring Sensors, Smart Street Lighting, Digital Billboards, Emergency Call Boxes, and a Public Address System, thereby fostering a connected and responsive urban ecosystem.
Further advancements include the implementation of a Smart Water Metering system, designed to integrate data into the ICCC and Water Billing System, and a Variable Messaging Display System for efficient real-time communication. The project also entails the establishment of an expansive Optical Fiber Connectivity network, linking field devices with the ICCC to guarantee fast and reliable data transmission.
One of the most innovative aspects of this project is the use of Drone-based 3D mapping technology to develop a comprehensive Geographical Information System (GIS), enhancing spatial awareness and planning capabilities. This technological approach not only positions Allied Digital Services Limited as a leader in smart city solutions but also significantly contributes to the project’s success.
