Acrow Limited secures contract for Melbourne North East Link Project

In a significant development for the Australian infrastructure sector, Acrow Limited (ASX: ACF), a leading provider of construction equipment and engineering services, has announced a landmark contract with Spark NEL DC JV for the Melbourne North East Link Project. Under the terms of the agreement, Acrow will supply a comprehensive range of proprietary gantry systems designed to facilitate the construction of tunnel corbels for the smoke duct slab. The supply package includes four different types of motorized traveling units, renowned for their engineering precision and the efficiency they bring to complex construction projects. These units are scheduled for delivery early in the fiscal year 2025, promising to advance the project’s timeline with their quick, safe, and effective deployment.

The North East Link Project is set to feature three-lane twin tunnels, addressing a critical gap in Melbourne’s freeway network and expected to serve up to 135,000 vehicles daily.
