Certified Laboratories acquires Texas-based testing lab Microconsult
Certified Laboratories, a Certified Group company, and a provider of food, supplements, cosmetic, and personal care laboratory, has acquired Microconsult, a Carrollton, Texas-based microbiological, chemical, and nutritional testing lab, as per an announcement made in late April.
The financial details of the transaction were not revealed.
Through the merger of Certified Laboratories and Microconsult, the expansion of lab services and advancement into various industries and areas will be considerably increased. The combined and varied expertise of the teams of the two companies will provide customers with access to comprehensive experience, said Certified Laboratories.

With the acquisition of Microconsult, Certified Laboratories is said to have further strengthened its position as a professional lab services provider and a major player in quality and safety testing.

The acquisition also boosts the presence of Certified Laboratory’s network to the South along with the existing laboratories in California, New York, Illinois, and Canada.
Microconsult marks the sixth acquisition under Certified Group in the last two years or so.
