Based in Mumbai, Funke’s extensive background includes pivotal leadership positions at renowned organizations such as Fresenius Kabi and Strides Pharma Science. Throughout his career, Funke has been at the helm of large-scale technical operations and manufacturing networks, managing 27 sites across 19 countries with a production value exceeding USD 2 billion. He has also led a formidable team of over 12,500 employees, showcasing his capability to steer complex operations with precision and strategic foresight. Funke is an alumnus of the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences, Germany, where he earned his engineering degree.
