The facility, backed by 4×4 Capital and Bain Capital Private Equity, represents a significant investment of over $60 million in the local economy.
Strategic Expansion to Support Growing Demand
The new facility, located at 301 Salem Road in the River Ridge Commerce Center, will encompass 200,000 square feet of renovated office and manufacturing space. The expansion includes the installation of new equipment and is supported by up to $3.7 million in incentive-based tax credits from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). The project also gains support from other partners such as America Place and One Southern Indiana (1si).
1440 Foods’ decision to set up in Jeffersonville was influenced by the city’s established transportation and logistics infrastructure and its central proximity to distribution points and retailers across the United States.
