Yasso, a Colorado-based maker of frozen Greek yogurt novelties, has introduced its first incubator brand – Jüve Pops, a functional, vitamin, and electrolyte-packed water-based pop.
The company said that Jüve Pops provides thirst-quenching pops made from real fruit and less sugar, which are blended and frozen with a burst of hydrating, energizing vitamins, and electrolytes.
Founded by Drew Harrington and Amanda Klane, co-founders of Yasso, Jüve Pops is the first brand to be conceptualized fully by the Yasso Incubator.
Drew Harrington and Amanda Klane along with Yasso CEO Craig Shiesley, developed the incubator to research other sub-categories in the frozen dessert category and beyond.
Craig Shiesley said: “The Yasso mission is to provide consumers with better options and bring joy to snacking. We believe there is a real opportunity to set the gold standard in snacking for taste and nutrition across the entire frozen aisle.
“The Yasso Incubator gives us the opportunity to challenge our team on how we can maximize the entire pool of company capabilities from our founders to our best-in-class growth team.”
Jüve Pops, which are available in frozen and freezable ambient formats, are said to offer twice the amount of potassium, more vitamins, lesser sugar, and fewer calories when compared to the leading fruit bar.
Drew Harrington said: “In conceptualizing Jüve Pops, we saw an opportunity to bring the success of the functional beverage category to the frozen aisle and create a new brand that delivers rejuvenating refreshment in an innovative, exciting form.
“Building the Jüve Pops brand alongside our talented Yasso team has been a rewarding entrepreneurial journey for the whole company and we’re excited for people to discover our new products in stores and online.”
Jüve Pops comes in eight different flavors – Tangerine, Triple Berry, Lemon Lime, Strawberry, and Coconut frozen bars, and Orange, Triple Berry, and Grape in freezable formats.
The thirst-quenching pops are priced at $4.99 per frozen box or $6.99 per ambient box and can be purchased either in any of the national grocery stores such as Gelsons, Wegmans, and Harris Teeter or online from the product website.
