Wipro reports Rs 29.7bn net income for Q3 FY2022
Wipro Q3 FY2022 results : Wipro has reported a net income of INR 29.7 billion for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2022 (Q3 FY2022) that ended 31 December 2021, which is a 0.7% decrease compared to INR 29.9 billion reported in Q3 FY2021.
In the previous quarter, that is Q2 FY2022, Wipro had a net income of INR 29.3 billion.
The Indian IT services provider saw an increase of 4.8% year-over-year (YoY) in diluted earnings per share in the reported quarter to INR 5.42 ($0.07).
Wipro Q3 FY2022 gross revenue was INR 203.1 billion, which is a YoY increase of 29.6%, compared to INR 156.7 billion in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. In Q2 FY2022, Wipro’s gross revenue was INR 196.7 billion.

As per Wipro Q3 FY2022 results, the company’s IT services unit earned revenue of $2.63 billion, which is a 27.5% increase YoY.
Commenting on Wipro Q3 FY2022 results, Thierry Delaporte — CEO and Managing Director said: “Wipro has delivered a fifth consecutive quarter of strong performance, both on revenues, and margins. Order bookings have been strong too, and we have added seven new customers in the more than $100 Mn revenue league, in the last 12 months.
“Our strategy and improved execution continue to serve us well, and we are confident of building on this momentum. We are also excited to have completed the acquisitions of Edgile and LeanSwift Solutions in the quarter, both of which will add to our capabilities significantly.”
