Wipro promotes Suzanne Dann as CEO of Americas 2 Strategic Market Unit

Wipro said that it has appointed Suzanne Dann as CEO of Wipro Americas 2 Strategic Market Unit, taking over from Angan Guha, with immediate effect.

Suzanne Dann, who will also become a part of the Wipro Executive Board, is expected to drive increasing bookings, revenue in high-growth strategic areas, and signings of large deals, said the Indian IT services provider. Besides, as the CEO of Wipro Americas 2 Strategic Market Unit, she will also steer operational changes to enhance margins and continue investments in talent to cater to the changing requirements of clients.

According to Wipro, Suzanne Dann joined the company in April 2021 as US Senior Vice President for Capital Markets and Insurance. In that designation, she is said to have helped expedite growth and worked to strengthen Wipro’s portfolio, promote client relationships, and create a high-performance culture.

Before joining Wipro, Suzanne Dann, who has a B.S. degree from Cornell University, was in leadership roles at Avanade, EY, and IBM.
