Wipro launches Wipro FullStride Cloud Services, commits $1bn in cloud investment

Wipro Limited has launched and said that it will invest $1 billion in cloud technologies, capabilities, acquisitions and partnerships during the next three years.

According to the Indian IT firm, FullStride Cloud Services will combine the full portfolio of its cloud-related capabilities, solutions, and talent to better arrange the cloud journey for clients.

The company said that its latest commitment builds on its existing cloud business with clients and considerably enlarges the investment with its partners and hyperscalers to create industry solutions that expedite results for mutual clients.

Wipro said that it has more than 79,000 cloud professionals and over 10,000 people certified by major cloud service providers.

During the last 12 months, the Indian IT services provider has bagged cloud-related deals from Telefónica Germany / O2, Verifone, E.ON, and METRO AG.
