Wipro launches Click-Shift-Drive contactless car buying solution
Wipro has introduced a contactless car buying solution called Click-Shift-Drive for addressing the entire automobile-buying journey.
According to the Indian IT giant, Click-Shift-Drive is scalable, flexible, and can be quickly deployed. The end-to-end car purchasing solution is said to help auto manufacturers and auto dealers to provide everything starting from research and loan approval to buying and delivery.
The Click-Shift-Drive car buying solution allows dealers and automakers to swiftly adapt to the demands of the digital age of the Millennial as well as Gen Z consumers taking over the car-purchasing market. With the new solution, they can introduce e-commerce solutions and offer a virtual direct-buying experience within just eight weeks.
Hari Raja — Wipro Global Salesforce Practice Head said: “Research shows 59% of automotive customers are interested in buying cars entirely online. Click-Shift-Drive, part of Wipro’s $1 billion investment in cloud over 3 years, empowers manufacturers and dealers to meet that demand by launching online marketplaces faster and with more features than ever before.
“As e-commerce gains prominence, Click-Shift-Drive is ideally suited to help industry leaders deliver an enhanced customer and purchasing experience.”
Wipro claims that Click-Shift-Drive uniquely integrates a variety of Salesforce technologies to help companies offer a better user experience throughout their car purchasing journey.
Lidiane Jones — Salesforce Commerce Cloud Executive Vice President & General Manager said: “Building relationships and knowing your customer is key to the success of any commerce business.
“For many customers, this requires a suite of integrations made possible by our partners. With Wipro’s Click-Shift-Drive and Commerce Cloud, companies will be able to take customers beyond traditional product catalogues and lead management in the car buying journey to a highly customizable commerce engine.”
Additionally, Wipro has joined forces with ThreeKit 3D & Augmented Reality to offer an augmented reality feature so that customers can see a virtual representation of the car within their own driveway.
