VST Tillers Tractors, Zetor launch new tractors at CII Agro Tech India 2022

VST Tillers Tractors in collaboration with Zetor Tractors, a Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer, has launched two new tractors at the CII Agro Tech India 2022 exhibition being held in Chandigarh.

Co-developed by VST Tillers Tractors and Zetor Tractors at their India and Czech Republic facility, the VST ZETOR series comes with 1800kg lift capacity and features DI Engine.

The new 45HP and 50HP category tractors also feature fully constant mesh transmission with helical gears and vzmatic hydraulics with a broader platform, optimum turning radius, dual diaphragm clutch, adjustable seat, aerodynamic styling, and dual acting power steering.

The VST ZETOR series also features integrated car-like headlamps, stylish SMC bonnet, compact packaging with under hood muffler, stylish dashboard with digital cluster, heat deflector, side shift lever, stylish and fully covered fenders, and GSPTO.

Robert Harman — Zetor Tractors CEO said: “at Zetor, we are happy to re-enter the Indian market in partnership with a traditional Indian company like VST Tillers Tractors Ltd.

“Zetor has a long-standing association with India as we used to export Tractors to India since 1960s and later Zetor tractors were assembled / manufactured under the licensing agreement with various state’s Agro Industrial Corporation and Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) company.

“We rolled out more than 60,000 tractors between 1970 & 1990.”

VST Tillers Tractors and Zetor’s products will be sold through their channel partners in India and in the world market.

In 2020, Bengaluru-based agri-machinery maker VST Tillers Tractors and Zetor Tractors signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly produce tractors with higher horsepower for Indian and global markets.
